Thanks for sharing - proof that it can be done. Ryan's been putting her to bed but I'm weak when I go in when she wakes up around 2. I guess he'll just have to take over on that front for a while. :)

One way we phased out was that our kids were only wanting the morning and evening nursings, so we weaned them of the evening one first as we knew it had nothing to do with nourishment. Hubby took them and prepared them for bed giving them good "papa time" while I cleaned up the kitchen. he then brought them to me for a goodnight kiss ( not a nursing) before he put them down.

Then after being successful with that, it was the morning that needed weaned so my husband would feed them ( first) breakfast while I got in the shower.

Finally, by their first birthday, I made myself pretty scarce during those times and they relied on their Papa to give them loves, etc... then I showed up with solid food!
