This year, Leighton is entirely into Santa.
So far, we've seen Santa at the Highland Park tree lighting and on the Polar Express train ride. We need to stop at a mall or two for pictures. And, if we're lucky, he'll make a quick stop at my grandma's party on Christmas Eve before embarking on his trip around the world to deliver presents.
This is so much fun!
Mairin is suspicious of the whole giant, bearded elf, clad head to toe in red fur. She peers at him as if to say, "You're no Elmo, buddy." And that's it for her ... most likely until next year.
Still, both girls seem to be enjoying the endless barrage of holiday-themed events, songs, art projects, movies and Christmas list crafting.
A Cloak (like Ella of Frell), pink guitar and doll house are on Leighton's list. She says Marinka Dinka would like teething toys, but Mairin says she would like "whatever Leighton gets."
Ho! Ho! Ho!
